1. About Us
HomeRenoUK is a family-run home improvement business providing services including loft insulation, loft boarding, removals, cavity wall insulation, and general property improvement works across Essex and surrounding areas. By accepting a quotation, paying a deposit, booking works, or allowing work to commence, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations & Scope of Work
All quotations are based on information provided by the customer and/or site assessments carried out at the property. Quotations clearly outline the agreed scope of work. Any additional work requested outside of this scope may be charged separately. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If unforeseen issues arise (e.g. access restrictions, structural concerns, unsafe conditions), HomeRenoUK reserves the right to amend the quotation. Any changes will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

3. Deposits
A deposit may be required to secure your booking, particularly for larger projects. Deposits are deducted from the final invoice unless stated otherwise. Deposit refunds are subject to the cancellation terms outlined below. 4. Installation Dates & Access Installation dates are agreed in advance and allocated specifically to your project. The customer is responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the work area on the agreed date. Delays or additional costs resulting from restricted access or unsafe conditions may be chargeable. While we aim to meet all agreed dates, HomeRenoUK reserves the right to reschedule due to adverse weather, staff illness, supplier delays, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, an alternative date will be offered at no additional cost.

5. Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellations
Where a deposit has been taken, any refund due will depend on when the cancellation is made:

- Cancellation on the scheduled installation date: A cancellation charge of £500 will apply. Exceptions may be considered in genuine emergency situations at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.

- Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled installation date: A cancellation charge of £250 will apply. Exceptions may be considered in genuine emergency situations at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.

- Cancellation with more than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation charge will apply and the deposit will be refunded in full.

How to Cancel
To cancel scheduled works, we require both: Verbal confirmation by telephone on 07875 941107, and Written confirmation by email to admin@homerenouk.com Cancellations will only be considered valid once both forms of confirmation have been received.

HomeRenoUK Cancellations
If HomeRenoUK is required to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, no cancellation fees will apply and an alternative installation date will be offered.

6. Payments
Full payment is due upon completion of works, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Preferred payment method is bank transfer. Cash may be accepted by prior agreement. Cheques are not accepted. Late payments may incur reasonable administrative charges.

7. Materials & Ownership
All materials supplied remain the property of HomeRenoUK until payment has been received in full. Materials are sourced from reputable manufacturers and installed in accordance with industry best practice.

8. Waste Removal
Waste generated from the agreed scope of work will be removed and disposed of responsibly. Any additional waste not included within the original quotation may incur extra charges.

9. Workmanship & Aftercare
HomeRenoUK is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. Any concerns relating to workmanship must be reported within 14 days of completion so we can inspect and rectify if required. These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

10. Liability
HomeRenoUK holds appropriate public liability insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or issues outside the agreed scope of work. HomeRenoUK shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

11. Customer Responsibilities
The customer confirms they have authority to instruct works at the property. The customer must disclose any known hazards, asbestos, or structural issues prior to work commencing.

12. Complaints
We aim to resolve any concerns quickly and fairly. Please raise any issues as soon as possible so we can address them appropriately. admin@homerenouk.com

13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
